It is a storytelling program using puppets in the performance show that introduces the participant’s approach to tell stories creatively, exploring new imaginative skills and is a great addition to a puppet making workshop to use this final puppet in their creative story.

Objectives and Outcomes

This Program Supports the ability of participants to express themselves and communicate with each other through puppetry and storytelling.


Moreover, in enables them to cooperate with each other to create a new character to use in their targeted theme and build an imaginative character in his/her story.

At the end of this workshop, each participant will be able to do the following:

​

  • Learn how to make and create a puppet using the needed materials.

  • Learn the basics of storytelling.

  • How to use their imagined puppets to create a story titled an agreed theme.

  • Practice different techniques for active listening.

  • Learn the basics of improvisational and narrative skills.

  • Learn the skills of the puppetry theatre performance.
