Objectives and Outcomes
This Program Supports the ability of participants to express their personal stories which can have a profound impact and another level of transformation and healing them indirectly during re-enactment of these stories in front of them by their colleagues in the program.
Moreover, it builds an interactive community between the participants and the audience through helping them to be confident to tell their personal stories and then re-enactment them through the playback performance.
At the end of this workshop, each participant will be able to do the following:
Identify the history of the playback theater.
Identify the playback theater forms.
Recognize the possibility and skill of their bodies and senses in the embodiment and expression of their stories.
Experience a ritualized improvisational process through which feelings/situations/stories can be immediately depicted through the spontaneous application of popular Playback forms.
Apply the vocal (breath, resonance, articulation) and physical (grounded presence, flexibility, tempo) technique to the re-enactment of the story.
